My Phalaenopsis Gush
Since 95% of my posts are of me stressing or over-worrying about one of my newly purchased orchids, lol, I thought I would post something that I am particularly proud of. My very first orchid purchase, a Trader Joe’s Phalaenopsis, has grown to be my nearest and dearest. I just wanted to share a couple pictures of her. Her flower spike, which is currently growing from her old spike, is currently at 15” and still growing it seems. It’s longer than her original spike. Her leaves have grown over 12” long, and her basal keiki is still growing too.
A simple gush post for my favorite orchid. Thanks for listening ( this post and for all my others too, you guys are awesome ☺️ )

It looks great! Congratulations!
Are the Miltoniopsis and Paphiopedilum likewise flowering under your care?

Thanks! Yes, they are! The milt buds started to open just a couple of days ago ( they are so pretty, iridescent! ) and the paph is moving right along. I’m really excited to see its bloom, it’s my only paphiopedilum I have.

Thanks! ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif) Seeing this one bloom meant a little "extra" for me. More blooms opened this weekend too.

so did this one bloom without the dorsal sepal, or is it tucked away behind and just can’t see it? only curious because we have been getting a lot of weird flowers on the first ones, the rest bloom normally....
