I’ve just rescued this pretty phal from Homebase for £1. I’ve soaked and cleaned the dehydrated roots and repotted it, but have just noticed these small black spots under one of the leaves. Ive checked all the other leaves thoroughly and can’t see any sign of it anywhere else. Is this something I should be concerned about, or something that needs treating? Any advice gratefully received, many thanks.
Those little black spots are nothing to worry about. Maybe an insect bite, or a tiny fungal issue from splashing water, or mechanical damage. But unless they are soft and spreading, likely nothing. Something to watch, but for right now I don't think that you need to do anything. Such "dings" don't go away once their cause is removed (which probably was take care of) What a bargain! Great save!
