Vanda Yellow Butterfly Blooming

This Vanda hangs in front of the side wall of our garage in NW Florida. It has bloomed twice a year for the last two years. I place it in the garage only when temps are predicted to go below freezing. It grows in an orchid basket with no medium.

Really nice bloom. Can I ask how old the plant was when it first started to bloom? I really would like to try growing a Vanda but a lot of the ones I see for sale seem to be very small.

I would guess about four years old. It was a good size plant when I got it.
