Do aquariums increase humidity for orchids?

We all know that many orchids love humidity. I top off around 12 gallons in a tank every 5 days due to evaporation. Would this evaporation increase the humidity only in the air/room of the tank, or would the humidity be increased in other roooms of the house, too?

Of course it increases the humidity, but as you suggested, it is quickly spread about the house and through the leakage to the world around us.

It really is not an appreciable addition, I'm afraid.
