To those experienced in mexicoa ghiesbreghtiana

I have a doubt about its blooming process.

IOSPE says that the flower spike "...arises on a newly forming pseudobulb."
In my interpretation this means that it appears when a new pbulb is starting to grow but looking at some pictures and photos it is inconclusive (at least to me).

Mexicoa ghiesbreghtiana (as Odontoglossum warneri var. purpuratum) - Edwards vol 33 (NS 10) pl 20 (1847) with a spike growing from a formed pbulb.

So, as you have already understood what I want to know, my question is: do you think my plant will bloom this summer (photo below, being the youngest pbulb already formed)?
There's something starting to grow but I can't tell if it's a new growth or a root (it seems a new growth).

I don't know. I don't know how big it needs to be before flowering.

In a few weeks I'll know what is it. Don't know much about this species, excephow the flower looks and it can grow under my conditions.
I think this plant is mature.

You already showed a good picture and a description pointing out that a flower spike emerges from the base of a newly formed pseudobulb in Spring.

So according to the description you provided it is right on schedule.

It can bloom between spring through fall. I'm not sure what "newly formed pseudobulb" means. Is it the early stages of a pbulb formation? Or is it when the pbulb is finally completely formed. Somewhat ambiguous to me but english is not my native laguage.

It's ambiguous. The meaning most people would understand would be when the new pseudobulb is close to or completely mature. That's what the drawing shows - as with most Oncidiums, the spike emerges from within a basal sheath shortly after the pseudobulb matures.

My interpretation of the drawing was telling me that this could be a spike. Well, the wait continues...

Update on this one...
What I thought it was a spike it is a new growth.
It handled the conditions of the place where I put it.
Now let's see if it likes it in winter...so far temps around 15-18ºC (60-64 F) and RH between 70 and 40%.
