Using glue to seal fractures on phalaenopsis roots?

BEST practice is to not disturb the roots and use a probiotic with beneficial good guys

that way, when you DO crack or split a root, the bad pathogens cannot get in and do work bc the plant is full of good defenses and the medium favors their health not rot.

i stew my own based off a culture of Inococur and will re make this one once more (five gallon fermenter)..after that i will use the quantum total Ray sells for a new batch- i use it with every water

This makes a lot of sense to me. Instead of trying to micromanage superficial problems, try to give the orchid the best environment so that it can defend itself against potential ills.
