Sunken brown spots on phaelanopsis leaves Male
Default

The damage at the edges is likely from mechanical erosion - rubbing against something.

The sunken areas appear to be remnants of mesophyll collapse - the surface cells literally collapsed due to a significant disruption. Often, that happens when hitting the sun-warmed leaves with cold water.

Al of the damage looks old, and there is nothing that can be done to repair it, so just avoid it in the future.
