Another possibility is - did you let it dry out? Paphs prefer being evenly moist without ever becoming dry. They need to be repotted every 1-2 years because most media break down rapidly kept so moist.

The weird thing is, this Paph develops to face inwards, not outwards even though put near the window in the past few weeks.
I haven't repot it yet as it arrived just 3 weeks ago. The medium (tree barks) dries fast so I water it every 3 days. How does medium or watering related to its facing? I am curious to learn it.
