Yellow/Pale spot on Oncidium bulb

Hello,

I got my first oncidium a couple of months ago and have been trying to get it to grow quickly this spring by giving it lots of water and light. So far, my oncidium has three new points of growth; however, I recently noticed a small pale/yellow spot on part of its pseudobulb. Is this possibly sunburn from too much light? Or is it cause for concern? thank you for you time
