Default This NOID dendrobium is an odd character

Just thought I'd share one of the odd quirks you may find with some of your plants. This dendrobium has been in this pot for two years. I'm planning on repotting this week, and this new growth doesn't want to cooperate! It isn't really a problem because I know it will turn upward, but getting it in new media will be a small challenge.

A mount would give it room to ramble but need care conducive to growing it that way. Not always easy.

Yes, mounting is not something I have the time required to properly care for. But these hardy dens will be just fine. They bloom faithfully every year, despite the lack of medium in a couple pots. Thankfully, our humidity levels help with the odd watering schedule for most of the year. There are four pots destined to become specimen plants.
