My water hardness is 105mg/L apparently, it says online. But I have requested the full water quality report via email which they will send next week.
Use it, and don’t waste your time with bottled water.
Sure, a purified water would be better, but is it that much better? Not really. If you’re a relatively new grower, there are a lot more cultural parameters to master before that.
That water isn't all that bad. As others have also pointed out, most orchids will be fine with that. When you start growing some of the sensitive rain-forest species you'll want to revisit the options. But while you haven't mentioned what types of orchids you have, I am guessing Phalaenopsis or maybe some Oncidium-tribe hybrids. Those, the more commonly-available orchids, will be fine with that city water.
