well, a few of you mentioned the trouble some had had with mini marks. and you may recall that it had one open flower when we got it and dropped all the remaining buds. well, thought we had it on the road to recovery as it kept going and put more on. we may get one as the green one has kept up, but now we can see it blasted another one. oh well, such is life. i know i over potted it last time, but i don’t want to fiddle with it any more.
I can relate tmoney.
I moved my Tying shin Fly Eagle to the window but then we had this horrible cold spell last week, it even started snowing. One bud went yellow so I moved it back but no luck it last lost the second bud too.
Lesson learnt, you have to try these things to find out which orchid can be grown where. I will have to keep it warmer for longer in future. But like you I hope the spike continues growing and I get a flower or two still.
yup, got big hopes for the remaining one! it’d be nice to get one flower to open in our care. and for sure that cold snap last week really messed with things...the roses on the balcony have slowed down, and my mental state has started to decline hahahahah. i want spring...
