Fertilizer Ratio, Calcium, Magnesium Deficiency
Default Fertilizer Ratio, Calcium, Magnesium Deficiency

Hi

If the label on the fertilizer says 1 teaspoon/gallon, can I convert it to 1/4 of a teaspon/liter to make it convenient for me? Also, how do I know if any of my orchids is calcium or magnesium deficient? I read that Paphiopedilum's need lots of calcium... should I give it special treatment by adding calcium such as broken egg shells?

Lastly, are there any links you guys could recommend on how to provide magnesium and calcium in an organic/home made way? Thank you.
