Paph Spicerianum Seedlings - Repot together or not? Female
Question Paph Spicerianum Seedlings - Repot together or not?

Help OB! Just unpotted new Paph spicerianum seedling from Hausermann's. Thought I had ONE nice seedling, but have three seedlets instead! They are tiny tiny (see pic).

Should I pot them up separately or put them all in one pot? All three have at least one rootlet!

I would pot them separately, as it avoids the situation of one plant getting a pathogen automatically sharing it with the others.

If that is a normal size plant tag than I wouldn't consider them "tiny". Large enough for their own pots, just don't overpot. Also avoids trying to untangle them the next time they need a repot. And like Ray says, no shared pathogens.

If I received something this small I wouldn't divide and/nor and repot unless weather had warmed up nicely and the bark looked like it was already turning to mush. I don't know your weather. Sometimes Hausermann's sends out small seedlings with bark in very good condition, and sometimes not.

I agree with Ray and others. If possible - grow them in separate pots. Spreading the golden eggs out in different baskets is good for safety.
