NOID Antelope Type Dendrobium Repot While Flowering

All the advice says to repot when new root growth starts, but it also says not to repot when in flower. I have both happening.

My new Den is in a 4" pot, but has a 12" root spread. It has climbed so far out of the pot it is basically bare root, and I am needing to water twice a day to keep her happy. She is in full bloom. She is a little sensitive to changes and has already lost 4 leaves and 2 buds blasted to what seems to be stress, as there are no other symptoms. So I don't want to stress her, but am unsure what is going to be less stressful for her.

Should I try to repot her, or wait?

The flowers are beautiful!

Put the whole thing, including pot, into another pot big enough to hold it, about 2-3 inches/5-7.5 cm larger in diameter. Backfill with the medium of your choice. This is a magic Dendrobium growing technique.

So the old pot kinda becomes "inorganic media"? That makes sense. Should I be planning on removing both pots the next time I repot, or is this pot kinda part of the plant now?
