Default Epidendrum species ID?

I just got back from the Univ of South Florida Spring Plant Festival in Tampa at the Botanical Gardens, and as usual spent too much but enjoyed myself. Everything was spectacular. The orchids were cool, and I got several. I did purchase a beautiful purple epi species, similar to radicans, that was in a one gallon pot FULL of stems and flowers - such an awesome purple. Anyone have ANY idea on this species? The grower did not know, other than epidendrum species. There are about 15 flower stalks (reeds).....Thanks! Greg in New Port Richey.....who wants to go back sunday but my wallet says "NO NO NO"

You sure it's a species and not a hybrid?

If so, I suggest pointing yourself to Jay Pfahl's website, Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia, and peruse the epidendrums.
