Noids - Orchid Board

Okay, so my newbie is showing!!

What exactly is a Noid? I get that it is not a hybrid, or a species. Does Noid stand for "No identification"? Thanks for any answers in advance.

you got it.... NO ID

and it can be a species or a hybrid. just a plant with no tag, though the species with no tag are easier to identify when they bloom
