Where to find orchids for a gift?

I don't know anything about orchids.. but i'm looking for a good shop in Edmonton that sells some really nice orchid plants. it's for my mom's birthday (tomorrow) and some tips would be greatly appreciated

i dont know how to choose orchid plants either. my mom is a huge collector, and i'm looking for a more exotic species. contact info/business locations would be helpful
