Light/temp needs for 4 orchids?

I recently purchased some orchids, which I am trying to learn about and figure out how/where to meet their many differing needs for light/temp/moisture. I have a skylight bathroom, where there is the most light in the house. I am hoping this area will work for them.
To start, there are 3 mounted ones (on cork):
maxillaria chrysantha
dendrobium orange gem
brassavola digbyana
and one potted one: Epidendrum Ibaguense
I have a little light meter and I checked the various areas I can hang these plants. The readings include a spot at 500 ft.candles,at 1000 ft. candles, and 1500 foot candles. If I am reading this meter right? Is it bright enough for them? Which should I put where?
In this room, I have managed to get my phalaenopsis to bloom for a couple of years running. Will this then be an OK area for these three as well, temp. wise?
A local species orchid collector is leaving town, and had a sale and I bought a bunch of his plants. This has catapulted me into a much more complex growing mode than I had even understood before, so I appreciate all your help!
Lastly, I have tried googling their names to see if I could figure out their culture requirements, and I get pretty overwhelmed, or find contradictory info. Where would you recommend I look to get good info?

500 foot candles (if your meter is accurate) is way low for the species you list. I would grow these at least at 1500 foot candles, more if possible - up to 2500. But having said this, how can you trust your meter? Is it a calibratible meter? I have a cheapo meter that tells me something way different from my pro calibrated meter.

Well, I thought I was doing pretty well to even HAVE a light meter. It is certainly not calibratable........
Of the four, do they all need the same light, or some even more than others?

All four are similar in light requirements - high! By high, I mean full sun streaming through a south window of your home with a normal insect screen on it. That should equate to approx. 2000-2500 FCs. If you set plants right against the window you'll get the highest reading. If they are approx 2 feet back from the window they'll get the lowest reading. Hope this helps.

pdxmaven, would you be able to use a grow light to help increase the light level?

From your info, I am thinking that I can possibly get them enough light, but now I am worrying more about humidity.
they were in a greenhouse before, so lots of humidity for the slab they are on. If I sprayed them once a day and submerged them in water once a week, ,and then the humidity from peoples' showers (1-2/day) would that be enough? Would wrapping spaghnam moss around their roots help? thanks! Susan

These are good ideas to experiment with. I just broke down a few months ago and got a humidity gage from the local Home Depot. It helps me keep tabs in the humidity level.
