Default White dots in orchid plants on fir bark

What are these white dots on the fir bark in my low light orchid plants (Oncidium and phalaenopsis)? They don’t seem to be bugs and I rinse every once in a while with BT so I don’t think they’re bug eggs. But I could be wrong. They’ve been there for a few months. Is it just the fir bark breaking down?

Anyway the plants seem healthy but I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something that I should worry about.

I think it is a fungus. I have several plants, dendrobiums and phals that have it. All of them are in bark. Doesn't seem to bother the plants. Not a fan but haven't found a way to get rid of it.

This sort of fungus will usually develop on decaying material (and won't harm living plant tissues), so if you haven't repotted in a long time, it can be a sign that the medium needs to be replaced.
