My dendrobium is developing a second spike.

it is a spike i think....they also make keikis there too.

as ES said, they can rebloom and spike from old canes and even old spikes if they are green

Sweet! Good info to know. I didn't know about spikes from old spikes so don't cut them if they are green. Got it!
