My dendrobium is developing a second spike. Female
Default My dendrobium is developing a second spike.

I think my dendrobium phalaenopsis is developing a second spike next to it's current spike which just fully bloomed.

Do you think I'm correct about this? The three pictures attached are different light angles of what I am seeing, it's down below next to it's current spike / stem of flowers.

One picture is the orchid currently.

I'm just wondering. I've never heard of this happening ( if I'm correct ) so do you think this is a result of the fact that this guy hadn't bloomed in over 15+ years ?
