Hello everyone,
I need some help. I think mostly need help with my patience but here is my problem. I have this catt loddigesii with which I made a few pretty bad judgement calls. I would really like to avoid a new one. When I bought it about 2 years ago, I repotted. When I did that I made mistake #1 cut the old pot because the plant was really stuck but all its good roots were wound around the rim of the pot and I did not see them => disaster, cut through them all basically. I promptly followed with mistake #2 and I potted it in too small bark, because that what it seemed to have been grown in, but I have now come to realize it only looked that way because it was decomposed. And so, the poor plant suffered quite a bit. Thankfully, it did manage to survive my oh so competent care and about say a year and change Ago it grew a pseudobulb and some roots. Since then nothing happened. I keep on waiting for a new growth but it’s been more than one year and nothing
All the other ones around it are growing like crazy, but this one, nope. So I am thinking the bark is too small and I’d like to change it but since it has no new growth I kept on waiting for that first before moving. But it’s been so long now I am starting to really want to move it new growth or no new growth. Should I? It does not seem to be declining, just not progressing either. Help!
