Well I don't know what your idea is of a good deal....I didn't really find any price differences between the couple of places that sell it....and I did pay a pretty penny for it...on my credit card....I just couldn't behave my self....
I bought the 6 light system....I would have regretted it if I didn't...it is actually 3 biaxe or biaxle lights...not sure if that is the correct name....so the three has two tubes per light... I also purchased the ultrasonic fogger to go with it...it wasn't enough to keep the humidity up plus the fogger would splash most of the water out of the container so I couldn't keep the fogger on a timer...so I splurged even more and bought a MistKing System and that has since solved my low humidity issues...where I live it is very dry...around 20% humidity. Also the doors don't seem to close just right, so I am sure that is another way humidity escapes...but airflow is good! Other then that...I love it! I don't regret it one bit and it is beautiful looking. I would recommend two people to set it up.....and later on down the road, I decided I liked different light fixtures better.....I wonder if a person could negotiate the cost if lights were not provided? Just a thought....anyways....I have had it for about a year and I have quite a few orchids in bloom....I am sooo loving it! Let me know if you decide to get one!

Im thinking since I just bought the maui maybe I should just get another Maui, because I dont think its big enough, considering im going to have tons of chids coming in this week to me. Not to mention my Arg!!!! OMG My space isnt big enough for a grand cayman and a maui but might be ok with 2 mauis. Hmmm... do you have a maui too?

My Grand Caymen took a while (around 6 weeks or so)......but I think it was due to some family issues the owner was dealing with at the time, so it was completely understandable. I am glad I did not go with something smaller sized, but if you can buy two and have a more space then I would go for it! I think part of the appeal of the Grand Caymen is the stainless steel look.....I wouldn't mind having a maui too, I don't have one, I took an Exo-terra terrarium (24"18"x18") and converted it....I may have to upgrade to a maui in a year or two, but when we move, which I plan on doing in three years, I plan on having a room in the house, a basement, a sun room, or a greenhouse that I can convert to be like a large version of my orchidarium, but with plumbing and lights if I stick with staying indoors!

The Maui looks really nice online. Im so excited. I want to wait and see if I can get it sooner than they say (usually people say longer to cover butts, i hope) Maybe I will go with another company to get the 2nd Maui. GOt to pay for dog training first though
