Phal growth break?

Throwing this question out there. Do phals go through a rest phase at all in the growth cycle?

I have 8-10 phals(unless you count the babies), probably half and half regular/mini. I have noticed that they go into active growth and then seem to pause, and the start again. Most haven't had a change in environment or anything like that as far as I know. I had one that was putting out 15 or so new roots and they all stopped for a few weeks. They are now actively growing again. Nothing changed in their care. 🤷*♂️

I grow them in an enclosed, heated and humid environment so I wouldn't expect much change but the behavior I see is definitely not what I'd expect!

Phals in warm environments are in constant leaf growth. It takes a while for a new leaf to get big enough to be seen. They make roots when they think they need more.
