Newbie orchid carer - please help
Default Newbie orchid carer - please help

Hello all,

I have moved into a rental that has pre existing orchids in a greenhouse. I have no idea where to start to care for these gorgeous plants. They appear to be growing quite out of control but from basic reading think they may be the aerial plants and I should not cut them? I would like to tidy them up a bit. There are 2 or 3 flowers on some of them currently and I live in Brisbane Australia so it’s winter but still relatively warm during the day.

I would really appreciate any advice or guidance as to what to do.

Thanks,

Michaela
