I am saving money for the Maui, it is so pretty. The kit pretty much comes with everything you need.

I purchased one from orchidarium.com and I love it...although I had to make a modification due to the humidity not staying where it was supposed to because I purchased the largest one and the ultrasonic fogger just wouldn't cut it and it is very dry here. Keep in mind you won't be able to grow cool growing orchids in it...more intermediate to warm orchids.

You could also always covert an Exo-Terra terrarium for a much cheaper price. I am sure others will pitch in with more ideas!

there, I have an orchidarium and I love it in fact its the Maui. It was a cinch to put together no tools required. Humidity is no problem and the temps are good to. Here are some of mine.

You will enjoy it and your orchids will enjoy it even more.

Becca, in reading your reply you said that you had a fogger and it didn't work out well. Why was that?
The humidity in my Maui stays between 80 and 90 %. I thought of the mister but I really don't think I need one. I mist at least 3 - 4 times per day. The orchids are growing roots and seem to love it. I have repotted many into S/H and that seems to help the humidity.

Thumbs up

It will come with everything you need. Mine has the 3 lights 2 cool and 1 warm. Its a cinch to put together. Once you get it set up load the plants in it and its ready to go. I have my lights on a timer which works out well. The timer I got at HD and it goes on at 9 am and off at 8 pm. I open the door a little and open the vent on top to let it cool down so the orchids get the temp difference they need.

Becca Hi my Paph came in bud and I put it in the orchidarium soon after it opened. It is still going strong. Not sure how long Paph flowers last.
