indeed, it was. it was billed as a “teacup” on my Publix persistent orchid table. there was a few “teacups” with the big boys. but this guy looked like a little man! none of the others looked like it.
i have thought that 1) i should not have trimmed any arms... just the spike ... which i did when i felt it was finished flowering. 2) however, maybe the arms (3?) trim (just trim) caused the bonus bloom!
she bloomed all the way to (picture is March 18) almost April.

2020 spike is really strong and long! i only attached stake because it was “there/close.”
i wonder if they bent the original (2019) spike and maybe the little left arm, as it had about a 90° top turn. ?
