I agree with Ray. You would do better getting these fungus gnats under control. I've used dunks but now I use Mosquito Bits which same thing really but they release faster. I also went on Amazon and bought Yellow sticky paper that's used for catching adult gnats ( or other flying insects ).
The combo works quite well.

Now days I have a collection of carnivorous plants , butterworths and sundews that do well in the same conditions that I have my orchids and enjoy any gnats that maybe in the area.
