Cigar Orchid?
Talking Cigar Orchid?

I lost my cigar orchid during hurricane Wilma. Does anyone know where I can find one? I looked before, but couldn't find one. Thought I'd try again.
Thanks

I assume you had no luck trying to Google it aye?
I just rapidly ran into a dead end there myself!

Good Luck!

Try looking it up under its scientific name...I'm guessing Cyrtopodium punctatum is what you're looking for. My quick search didn't find any for sale, but since it's a Florida native, perhaps one of the local orchid nurseries has it.

Orchids by Eli is a seller on eBay. He has been known to have it in the past (Cyrtopodium punctatum). It might be worth asking him, even if currently he does not have a plant listed on eBay.

Be careful buying from unknown sellers, particular ones based in FL where it's native. A very large plant was recently poached in FL, and it's likely that divisions of it will start appearing for sale.

Google is always my first go to source. I don't know how I lived without it before. Thanks for also checking.

Thanks, I also looked under that name and also without any luck.

I did find an old post I think from 2008 where someone said they bought some from him. Checked on ebay and didn't have any listed, but I did message him. That was only a couple of hours ago so I haven't heard back yet.
Thanks

Do you have a link to this? I googled and didn't come up with anything.

I don’t recall who, but “Orchids by Eli” is the eBay outlet of a reputable vendor.
