[QUOTE=WaterWitchin;917526] I like to move to SH upon arrival. I'm not a very good caretaker with bark media...perhaps because I don't ever do it anymore. You have to "think" more with other media, and I'm easily distracted. I don't think I've ever bought a seedling anything. Also very impatient. At least I know my strengths and weaknesses. :biggrin: My elder daughter's name was Rose, and Dolly pointed this one out to me. It became a "must have."[/QUOTE}

When I looked for blue orchids a couple of months ago, I found the Vandas and the zygopedalum seedlings and decided I had to have them.
I moved everything into SH as soon as I started reading about the two orchids I had last summer. I think I saw Ray on another site writing about it. And probably followed him here. It is so dry in NM, it seemed the easiest
. It was after I had ordered bark and spaghnum moss. opened the moss before I realized it gives me asthma. So semi hydro it is and I have never opened the bark. I am a bit lazy and easily distracted, but I use the orchids to help me focus. :)
It is good to know our strength and weakness. and I think I both, but on the strength side, it is just what keeps me curious and amused. :rofl:
