Fogger or humidifier?

I was wondering how best to get more humidity in my growing area. I live in a mobile home in Central Calif. All my plants are in an east facing extension that makes up part of the living room. Its measures about 12 x 8'. Should I go for a pond fogger or a whole house humidifier that uses a wick? Would the pond fogger humidify an area that big? First pic is facing east, second north, third south.

I like the idea of a whole house humidifier that uses a wick but I hear they can raise your heating bill.
