sedirea japonica forms question
Hello, so I am sort of unsure as to what different sedirea japonica types/forms are. I originally purchased 3 sedirea japonica orchids due to their small size and to become familiar with types other than grocery store phalaenospsis orchids. I unfortunately received small seedlings and wanted to get more sedireas that were more mature, and by doing research and browsing potential ones to buy, I became a little confused as to what the different types/varieties of this orchid are. I kniw there are the standard sedireas (nagoran) which grow the largest of the type. I than learned of the small, rounded leaf mini variety minmaru and really liked that form the most. Well the first mini variety I found looked just like a minmaru (small size, oval/round leaves) but was called a sedirea japonica daruma type. Over time I have acquired a few regular sedireas (nagoran), and a few minmaru varieties, as well as the two that are called daruma but are virtually indistinguishable from the minmarus I purchased. I than learned that minmaru isn't the smallest form, or only small form, as I saw one called seigyokumaru as well as chabo variety. In a nutshell, what about all these types differentiates them from one another? what really is a daruma variety, and how is that different than minmaru? Is seigyokumaru the same as minmaru? Is chabo the smallest form, and is it much smaller than minmaru? id appreciate any help with clarifying what these varieties are. Thanks
