Default fan placement for phal orchids

Hi there my two phalaenopsis orchids usually sit in the windowsill that is facing towards the south east. They get the best light here in the house and it’s keeps them safe from my toddlers . This corner doesn’t have a lot of airflow. I have a small fan that I want to place near them to give them some airflow. I know that phals don’t like direct drafts so I’m having trouble figuring out where to put this fan. Do I simply put it far away from the orchids to the point where I can feel a small breeze but there’s no real draft.? If anybody could help me find A way to get these phals a little more airflow without taking them away from their nice windowsill I would appreciate it

Here’s where I’ve put it so far. The flowers aren’t swaying but there’s enough of a breeze to blow the mist from the humidifier.

That sounds pretty good actually. No swaying of flowers or leaves is good.

Bingo. Move the air without too much. Sounds dialed in

That will be fine. I run two fans in my greenhouse window in winter. Other than needing more watering, they tolerate it well.
