Default Angraecum with shriveled leaves

Hello all,

I have an Angraecum equitans I somehow missed watering and the leaves shriveled a bit. Now that I’ve watered it again, will the leaves go back to normal? They still are firm but the texture is a bit wrinkled.

Thanks.

Maybe and maybe not... A lot depends on how severe and for how long the "drought" lasted. Even if the leave stay a bit wrinkled, the plant should do fine, and new leaves will be normal. The wrinkled leaves will just sit there as a reminder to not repeat the mistake...

It probably needed water 2 days before. Normally, it would have been fine but GH my vents didn’t open and the temp got over 100f.

I normally water once a week in the winter, but this week because of the weather I needed to water more but forgot the extra watering for this one.

Leaves still being quite firm is a good sign. A little bit wrinkled only is not too bad.

Sounds like the orchid is recovering - which is the main thing. Whether the leaves revert to original unwrinkled state will later be seen (with time).

As long as the leaves still have a pretty good form - as in staying firm and no extra degradation, and shows signs of recovery, then that will be fine.

Some extra monitoring and control systems might be needed for the green house to cut down on chances of vents not opening when they need to be opened.
