The nice thing about the basket technique Is you can adjust the sphag to allow for a longer or shorter dry out period. When it’s really rainy here I’ll take almost all the moss out of my bulbo baskets since they get flooded daily.

If you have a dry climate or not a lot of time, add more LOOSE moss and it will stay moist and humid longer.
