Another light question.
When it was warmer, all my Phal were about 6 to 10 feet away from windows that come in at a ESE angle. when the house became colder, I moved my table across the room 5 + feet from forced air heat. stays between 19 and 23*s night/day. I have very high south windows that gets about an hour sunlight directly on the orchids, less if I remember to move them slightly.
Question is I know direct sun is not good for Phals. In the warmer months is 5 and 10 feet of direct sun damaging. In the cooler months, The south high windows are at least 18 feet away at the angle. How damaging is a hour of sun a day. It has been cloudy for about a week here. So they do not get the sun every day
