roots?

Would you please tell me if these roots are ok?
I repotted several weeks ago.

The 4th attached photo should be just after repotting, the previous two 2 are now (both sides). And one of the plant, also now, for good measure!

Sometimes I think I should repot again and clean up the root system better? Perhaps after the flowers leave?
Or is everything ok?
The woodiness, apparent dying? IDK

I will say that before my repot, there weren’t such top root exposure — with only what it was like originally to compare, I thought I repotted too shallow.
Eg, now there appears to be a root tip growing upwards! (if it’s even growing — you can see it in the photo).
