Here's a close up.
Can't see, but I looked at the pictures you have added to the first post, this is normal growth, it may or may not develop in another flower, does not appear to look like a keiki.

Welcome!
It's a flower, not a keiki. It may or may not develop.

Thanks, everyone for replies. So, just a last bud. I noticed one on all my plant spikes after a closer look. Couldn't find reference to it anywhere during my searches. Clears things up a bit for me.

SouthPark, how do you keep the vertical photo from becoming horizontal as in the case with Windowsill? Do you make sure it's vertical before doing Step 1 by rotating the photo in a photo editor on any device? There isn't a orientation arrow to click to rotate a photo clockwise or counterclockwise when uploading a picture to a post, correct? I, a little over a month newbie, need to post pictures myself and have been somewhat baffled by what needs to be done. Thanks so much for giving detailed, graphic instructions. I'm a visual/tactile/kinesthetic learner and appreciate you pointing to what needs to be done next.

I use photoeditor.com, a free online photo editor, to edit my photos before posting on other sites.

This sideways orientation of photos that are direct from a phone seems to be a "feature" of the forum software. If you download the photo to your desktop machine, and open and re-save with a photo editor (whether you make any edits or not) it seems to straighten out the photos.

Hi SpcklK. You're right. I found that the orientation of the image seen after it is uploaded to this forum will match the orientation of the image that is edited within a regular photo editor. So - within the regular photo editor - if the loaded image (within our photo editor software) is of the wrong orientation, then I just use the 'rotate' option of the editor to rotate to the desired orientation (making sure to save the edited image to some other file-name afterwards).
