As a side note: Catts don't have all the same growth pattern. Some put out roots before new growths, others do the opposite while others do it at the same time.
Just because they are Catts doesn't mean they do the same. It's a large genus.

I noticed that this plant grew roots after blooming but not immediately, she had an inert period from September to almost early December, I transplanted her on 15 and had some roots growing, few. Since then it has remained that way, with its incipient roots without continuing to grow and I imagine that it must have lost the old ones because it is wanting to yellow the leaves. I also think that cold weather has contributed to this because when the pot of Toshie Aoki Pizazz fell out and I had to do an emergency transplant, in April, I crossed my fingers because the plant had no new roots, and no I know how but the plant grew its roots and made a beautiful flowering in August. Let's see if I can save this. This happens to me because I hate to do transplants and this year I have many to do. Greetings.

Definitely most catts will grow just fine when they get their suitable temperature range, good air-flow around the whole plant (leaves, stem, and all), and light level/duration, and adequate water.

In the tropical climate in my region, I repot any orchid at any time, and nothing bad happens to them. They just have to stay within decent temperature range, not have their roots water-logged or starved of oxygen, and not become dehydrated, and have some good air-flow all around.

Humidity is not too low in my region, so that's another factor too maybe - regarding watering schedules.

The tropical type orchids grown in cold climate countries can have other behaviour, because it just gets cold. So some compensation is needed, like needing to put them into a growing area where the temperature doesn't get out of the recommended range. Maybe not just temperature, but light levels and light duration. Humidity too - maybe.

This is only about sharing and mentioning of conditions.

If the growing conditions are nice for the orchid, then the orchid is expected to at least continue with active growth at some time, even if it takes a while for some to get back into action after a repot.
