Why did my phalaenopsis's leaf stop growing?
I am wondering why the new leaf of one of my phalaenopsis is small and deformed. After the plant finished flowering in September, the leaf started growing, but immediately started splitting and curling. It eventually stopped growing at the small size you can see in the pictures.
A bit of info about the plant. It is potted in Better Gro Special Orchid Mix (mainly bark). I water it regularly when the medium is dryish. I fertilize it weakly weekly with Grow More Orchid Food. It lost all of its roots a year ago (after growing the last two big leaves) when I tried to clean mold on the roots (contrarily to what I saw in a video on YouTube, a dilute bleach solution is NOT a good way to do that). It also lost of few of its leaves but has since regained a nice root system and even gave me a dozen flowers this summer.
So my question to more experienced growers is: do you thing the small leaf this year is an effect of the stress I put the plant through last year, or is it a sign of some other deficiency?
