Keiki and a Spike on a Spike Male
Default Keiki and a Spike on a Spike

Just curious if this is a common thing on Phals (or any orchid). I thought I had a root and a separate keiki on an old spike on this Phal, but on closer inspection I'm pretty sure its a spike and a keiki on a single old flower spike. Comments?

Keiki and a Spike on a Spike
Default

that's what it looks like to me...the small spike could just be an odd terminal growth as it has not completely revealed the buds yet but i think it is a small spike...what a busy Phal
