What is this growing on my Tolumnia?
I repotted my Tolumnias today, which involved gently manipulating roots away from the crown. They were in a small germination chamber earlier so the roots had grown upwards encasing the base of the crown completely.
I had a proper look see a while ago and noticed a small, white thing growing from the base of a leaf. For reference, it's the second leaf from the left in the image. This doesn't look like a new leaf bud to me, and I would assume it's a strange place for a root to grow out of. The nursery I got my orchids from told me this was just 3 odd months old so I would imagine this is rather young for a flower spike.
Any idea as to what this could be? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
