Default Semi-Urgent- Yellowing on Vanilla cutting leaves and around stock

My vanilla cutting is beginning to yellow around the leaves. One of the leaves is almost completely dead and the stock around that area is beginning to yellow. The plant has one healthy root and a few dry ones. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hard to guess what may be going on without more information. Do you have some photos? And how are you growing the cutting?

Does this plant grow outdoors? Ensure that the roots don't get water logged. Give the plant good air circulation. Give it adequate light as well.... and avoid direct intense sunlight.

If some spaghnum is being used..... then a light watering to just keep the spaghnum lightly damp is good. If the spaghnum is too wet then it could lead to root/stem rot in the pot.

You mention a cutting. Some history will be useful.... such as when you first got it.... eg. 2 months ago? And how much it developed since you first got it.

I’ve had it for about 3 months. It has grown one decently sized root. I grow it in an indoor greenhouse on the top level with a grow light and fan running 24/7.

The growing conditions sound satisfactory. If you have mancozeb, then perhaps you could give the plant a spray of it - just in case.

Continue to grow the plant as it was before. Maintain comfortable growing temperature for the plant. Water the media only --- light watering.

Check the parts of the plant in the media too. If you notice any rotting, then treatment will be necessary.
