How much to water Catasetum when it's growing a spike?
I keep reading and reading but not sure I feel I have found the info.
My Catasetum is indoors in a room that is about 78 during the day. It has leaves and is growing a spike.
The medium is moss and always moist to wet . Should I water even if it's still moist or wait until it dries slightly?
What I read is some people water every day or even keep the plants standing in water but the discussion was around it actively growing or people keeping the plant outdoors .
I also have a Catasetum in spike, and I have reduced watering to coincide with the end of their growing season. I let it dry out more in between waterings, but I don't let it dry out completely. In November, I will reduce the water by half, as specified by Fred Clarke on his website.

Cool. I'll have to go and look that up. Do you mind telling me how much water you are giving?
