Oncidium Dancing Lady, flowers extremely small this year

Hello all,
I have had my Dancing Lady for two years and last year the flowers were normal in size, but this year, in spite of being fed regularly and the plant health looks good, the flowers are minute. Could it just be having an off season, or could you suggest any other reason?
My oncidiums seem happy in their outside covered, but open ended environment.
