First, Welcome!

This is a 12-year-old thread, so you probably won't get any information from the original posters, none are currently active (one is deceased)

I looked this one up, on IOSPE (there still isn't a lot of information on it) There is no elevation data, but it does seem to be a warm-grower, probably needs less light than a Cattleya. From the little information that was given, I'd suspect conditions more like a Phalaenopsis. Can you post a photo of your plant? If the site won't let you post a photo, you may have run into a condition where one must have 5 posts first (I am not so sure that is true any more) If that's the case, look around the forum, make a few comments, and it's easy to hit that magic number 5. But a photo, and information about your growing conditions - potted/mounted, temperature, light, etc. will help a lot.
