Default First rebloom!!!

I finaly got my first rebloom! What a feeling
I thought it would come sooner, when a phal began to spike, but then it decided to do somehting silly... so I had to wait for the next orchid to create a spike.

My first rebloom is the "LBL Golden Peacke" which I think is the same as "PCV Golden Peacock". I made a video about it if you're interested!

Thumbs up

Enjoyed the video. Having my share of orchid failures has kept me humble and each bloom is a miracle for me! I also love the oranges.

Congratulations! Those are some very pretty flowers. I think most of us can remember that thrill the very first time we got an orchid to rebloom under our care. I still get ridiculously excited anytime I see a spike, and I hope I always will!

I hope that I'll get this excited every single time... I definitely got super excited when I saw that my cycnodes wine delight was spiking!

You will... and the excitement starts when you see spikes. I have been doing this for a long time, have a lot of plants, and I'm still really stoked when I see spike and buds - sometimes even more excited than over the flowers. Each time they rebloom it's a triumph.
