Vanda blooming

Hello I haven't posted in a while, I hope everyone has had success in orchid gowing. I've been extremely busy so haven't had alot of time to visit here as much as I'd like.
Anyway I'll get to my question, last year I had 1 of my 2 vanda start a bloom spike, I moved them both indoors for winter and it dried up. This year I gave them more light and the same Vanda is growing another spike. I haven't brought it indoors yet as I'm worried same thing will happen. It's further along than last year.. when shall I move into house and are there any precautions I should take? Many thanks I'll try to post a picture. I'll have to post picture in another thread.

For Vandas, keeping them sufficiently hydrated in the house is a challenge, and a sudden drop in humidity can certainly cause bud blast. You'll want to put them where you can keep them well watered. If you have sufficient light in the shower, that can be a good place to catch the drips.

Bringing in for winter is likely necessary and unavoidable. Usually, it's best to keep a plant in bud in the same environmental condition that it had been growing for ...... for a relatively long time. In your case, if you have to bring the orchid indoors, then maybe need to provide similar conditions - similar lighting, similar temperature, and provide enough air circulation.
