it is a kind of cymbidium. beyond that, i am not sure of the id.

A Cymbidium hybrid... like hybrids in general, many look alike so it will remain a NOID, there is no way of getting a definitive ID unless you get the information from the breeder. But a very nice one. And it should be very happy growing outside in New Zealand, as long as winter temperatures stay above freezing, or go below for only a few hours. Summer heat is not a problem either.
